The AWWA Water Quality Technology Conference and Exposition will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Duke Energy Center. Designed for water quality professionals, WQTC provides the latest research, regulations, and technological advances for keeping drinking water safe. This year’s conference and expo will offer high-quality workshops, technical sessions, and technical facility tours. It will be a great time to network with peers, experience the latest technology at numerous trade show displays, and meet with water quality treatment associated manufacturers, suppliers, and consultants.
WQTC is ideal for water quality specialists, water utility management and executives, treatment plant managers, scientists, engineers, laboratory personnel, distributors, manufacturers, consultants, and product representatives.
The WQTC 2008 Exposition will offer a close-up look at state-of-the-art products and services in analytical technology. You will be able to meet with manufacturers’ representatives, see application demonstrations, and ask questions about meeting your water quality demands.
Workshops offered will address such issues as:
- Assessing tastes, odors, and issues associated with distribution and plumbing materials
- New research and tools for total system optimization
- Water security initiative – Cincinnati pilot
- Analysis of algae in water supplies – methodology and quality control
In addition, special topics sessions will address a number of pertinent issues to water quality and some of the challenges facing the industry.
