Northeast International Auto Show 2009

The Rhode Island Convention Center will be the host of the 2009 Northeast International Auto Show January 8th through January 11th. More than 20 major domestic and import manufacturers will showcase hundreds of new cars, trucks, sport/utility vehicles, and crossovers. It will be the ideal place to shop and compare models. Attendees will be able to sit behind the wheels, inspect engines, and learn about the latest fuel-saving technologies. Also available will be motorcycle and ATV trade show displays from Razee Motorcycle and Honda Suzuki World. They will feature a collection of new motorcycles, scooters and four-wheelers from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, and more.

Several exciting all-new or redesigned 2009-model vehicles will be showcased at this year’s show including the Acura TL, Ford Flex, Hummer H3T, Infiniti FX, Mazda6, Nissan Maxima, Toyota Venza, Volkswagen Tiguan as well as a collection of hybrids including the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Malibu, and Toyota Highlander.

The Green Trail will lead attendees to the latest trends in alternative fuel vehicles and new technology to help save money at the fuel pump. Ford, General Motors, Honda, Toyota, and others will feature alternative fuel vehicles including several models not available in dealerships yet. In addition, more than 25 models rated at over 30 mpg highway will be on the auto show floor.

For the children, Barbie will be on hand on Kids Day, Sunday, January 11th, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
