The Kansas City Sportshow is the one-stop marketplace for outdoor fun. This year’s show has added new hands-on features to enhance the show experience for outdoor enthusiasts and their families.

Fishing seminars will be held daily where you can get tips from the top pros on such topics as bass, catfish, walleye, and crappie fishing. 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion Alton Jones will be on hand to host sessions on Thursday, January 8th.

The Discover Boating Center will have all of the information and advice you need to choose a boat. Experts will be on hand to answer your boating questions, provide unbiased advice on buying a boat, and give you information on local resources to get you started.

Lots of special attractions will make this show fun for the whole family. You can compete in remote control boat races, watch casting demos, or get tips from the pros. Young anglers will be able to test their skills at the Willow Creek Trout Pond. The 5,000 gallon Texas Bass Tank will allow you watch fish react to different lures and bait as demonstrated by professional angler Brad Campbell.

For the budget-conscious outdoor enthusiasts, the new Affordability Pavilion will highlight a variety of boats that can be financed for $250 or less per month.
